WELEK robot competition

On Tuesday, 27 April 2010, the Workshop Electronics or WELEK at Ghent University organizes its annual robot competition . Starting at the kick-off on 17 Februari, and culminating in the grand final on 27 April, the students build their own robot, which will compete in the Tour des Robots, a real Tour de France for robots. Some thirty teams already signed up, and have started building an autonomous robot that will drive through our track in a number of stages.

Like last years, Dwengo vzw again lends its full coperation to this initiative. The robots will be controlled by a Dwengo Board, while our tutorials and our code framework should get the students started in building their own, intelligent robot. Let the race begin!
